- All competitors must be members of Cycling Ireland and hold at
least a club competition licence
- Prizes will awarded at year end to:
- Top 10 Cuchulainn Members
- Top 3 Non-Club Members
- Top 3 Cuchulainn Scratch Riders
- Helmets must be worn during all events, also whilst warming up
and cooling down.
- A minimum of 10 marshals
must be present for events to be run. It is each marshal's
responsibility to ensure that they have made arrangements for a
replacement in the event of their non attendance. All marshals must
wear Hi-Viz Vests
- The committee will select the group
they feel most suits all competitors ability
- All Handicaps will be set by the comittee, but may be varied at
the discretion of the team leaders on the night.
- Points will be awarded to the first eight as follows: 12, 10, 8,
6, 5, 4, 3, 2
- Points towards the Scratch Riders Prize (Separate competition
will be awarded to the first 5 riders 5,4,3,2,1 with double points
awarded to any rider(s) with a 15sec gap over the main scratch
group). Time Trials and the Hill Climb will not count towards the
scratch riders prize.
- Rounds 19a and 19b (Hill Climb Series) will be combined to award
points i.e. the series winner will receive 12 points.
- The over-all result will be based upon a competitors 12 best
results.
- Rules of the Road must be respected at all times.
- Any competitor crossing the white line in the final 500
meters will be disqualified.
- All competitors and marshals must sign on.
- Time Trial Handicaps (TBC)
- Time trial bars must be removed for all road races.
- Only riders on standard road bikes can take part in the "Tech
Free" time trial without discs wheels, aero helmets and tri
bars are not permitted. Only equipment permitted under "UCI
Rules" for road racing can be used
- The Carrick Cycles Time Trial Shield will be presented to the
rider that completes 2 x 10 Mile Time Trials in the fastest combined
time (no handicaps apply).
